How we actually make them faster It comes down to the physics of the filament and the quartz. We use a high-density tungsten halogen filament that hits operating temperature in milliseconds. It’s fast. Really fast. And that’s the only way to keep up when your machine is spinning at high frequencies. We also get picky about the wattage-to-length ratio. By using a shorter tube with higher wattage, we create a concentrated heat zone. Instead of wasting energy heating up the air around the machine, the IR radiation goes straight into the PET preform. Simple. The real-world trade-off We kept the connectors standard, so these are just drop-in replacements. You don’t have to spend your weekend rewiring racks. But here’s the thing: that high heat density doesn’t come for free.
